Il Torrione is a wonderful, family owned restaurant on a hill over Santo Stefano al Mare. Amazing food, perfect and friendly staff. I travel to Italy for about 50 years (every year!) and il Torrione became one of my favourite places – after one visit. I don’t want to spoil too much. Just go there, eat, enjoy the view and feel good.

Food and service is super great. Nice sweet people and fresh food. (By the way at the restaurant works all the family. You can feel it, the approach is so different ). We tool grilled fish and warm salat frutti di mare..all was very good. Prices are average for the zone: 15-20 Europe’s for antipasti/primi/secondi. Many people took meat.seems that is a good place for meet as well. Highly recommend!

So being english and in a town where little people speak English (not a moan I love it) we found this absolute jewel….after scouring the area nothing looked apetising so onto good old google to find somewhere to eat……so where do I start….lovely friendly people absolutely sublime food cooked all over coals….this place is not to be missed….a little tricky to find but once here its worth the walk uphill or simply park in the large parking area. I would definitely go again contemplating extending trip to go here again tomorrow. Absolutely lovely. Grazie Mille
