Heart of padel

Heart of Padel is a friendly, family-run padel club in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, combining quality courts with a welcoming, personal atmosphere. Located at Padel House on Eton Hill Road, the club brings together beginners, families and experienced players, offering a place to learn, compete and enjoy the social side of padel in North Manchester.

The club’s five covered padel courts sit beneath 30-foot canopies, supporting year-round play with protection from the weather. This dedicated setting accommodates everything from a first introduction to the sport to regular training and competitive matches. Court bookings are managed through Playtomic, making it straightforward to arrange a game around work, family life or a regular playing partnership.

Padel coaching caters for a broad range of ages and abilities, with private padel lessons, beginner sessions and advanced group training.

Head Coach Rick Whalley brings more than 25 years of coaching experience across racket sports, alongside a Padel MBA qualification. Sessions focus on developing technique, tactical understanding and confidence. Junior padel includes group and one-to-one coaching for children aged six and above, while social padel, leagues and tournaments offer further opportunities to meet players and put developing skills into practice.

Away from the courts, the clubhouse gives players a comfortable space to spend time together over coffee, food or a drink. Hot and cold food, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks make it easy to extend a game into a relaxed social occasion. Private events and gatherings for friends, families, colleagues and clients add another dimension to club life. Throughout, Heart of Padel retains the approachable character of an independent club, where newcomers receive a warm welcome and regular players become familiar faces.

Heart of Padel is proudly recognised as a TPD Featured Club, highlighting its commitment to delivering outstanding facilities, high quality coaching and an exceptional player experience within the UK’s growing padel community.
